Badam Satti is the family card game known across India by many names: Satte pe Satta, Sevens, Fan Tan or simply "the sevens game". Everyone builds the four suits outwards from the 7s, and the first player to empty their hand wins. It is easy enough for children, and there is still plenty of skill in choosing which card to hold back. Play it free here with 4, 5 or 6 players.

Yes. Badam Satti, Satte pe Satta, Sevens, Fan Tan and Parliament are names for the same game, with small differences in rules from family to family.
The player holding the 7 of hearts. It must be the first card played.
Not on Cheettukali, and not in most homes: if a card fits, you must play it. You pass only when nothing fits.
Low. The rows run from the 7 down to the Ace and up to the King.
When you have a choice, play cards that open the way for your own cards further along the row, and keep the 6s and 8s that would only help others.
