Pyramid Solitaire is the quick, satisfying patience game where you clear a pyramid of 28 cards by removing pairs that add up to 13. A game takes a few minutes, which makes it perfect for a short break.
How to play Pyramid in four steps
- Know the values. Ace = 1, number cards their number, Jack = 11, Queen = 12, King = 13.
- Make 13. Tap two uncovered cards that add up to 13: A+Q, 2+J, 3+10, 4+9, 5+8 or 6+7. A King is 13 by itself: tap it to remove it.
- Only free cards count. A card is free when no card in the row below overlaps it.
- Use the stock. Tap the stock to turn a card onto the waste. The top waste card can be paired with a pyramid card. You get three passes through the stock.
Clear all 28 pyramid cards to win. The bottom row is where the game is decided: free those cards evenly rather than digging down one side.
