Play Solitaire online free (Klondike)
Solitaire, also called Klondike or Patience, is the card game that came free with every Windows PC. Here you can play it in your browser on any phone, tablet or computer: no download, no sign-up, and it keeps working without internet once the page has loaded.
How to play Solitaire in four steps
- Free the Aces. The four empty piles at the top right are the foundations. Each one is built up in one suit, from Ace to King.
- Build down on the table. On the seven columns, put a card on another that is one rank higher and of the other colour: a red 6 on a black 7, a black 9 on a red 10.
- Turn over hidden cards. When you move the face-up cards off a column, the card below turns face up. Only a King (with anything stacked on it) can move into an empty column.
- Use the stock. Tap the pile at the top left to turn cards over, one at a time or three at a time. You can go through it again as often as you like.
You win when all 52 cards are on the foundations. Once every card is face up, the game finishes itself.

- Draw 1 (easier) or Draw 3 (classic, harder), switch in the ☰ menu.
- Tap a card to send it to the best place, or drag it where you want.
- Unlimited ↶ Undo, a 💡 Hint button, a timer, a move counter and your own win statistics.
- Deal numbers, so you can replay a deal or share it with a friend.

Is this Solitaire free?
Yes, completely. There is no real money, no sign-up and nothing to buy. Your statistics are saved only on your own device.
What is the difference between Draw 1 and Draw 3?
In Draw 1 you turn one card from the stock at a time, so every card is reachable and far more games can be won. In Draw 3 you turn three and can only play the top one, which is the classic, harder version.
Can every game of Solitaire be won?
No. Some deals cannot be won however well you play, especially in Draw 3. Undo and the Hint button help you find the moves in deals that can.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once the page has loaded, the game keeps working without internet. You can also add it to your home screen to open it like an app.
