Play Spider Solitaire online free
Spider Solitaire (also called Spider patience) is played with two packs, 104 cards, across ten columns. The goal is to build eight complete runs from King down to Ace in one suit; each finished run leaves the table. Choose 1 suit if you are new, 2 suits for a real challenge, or 4 suits if you want the hardest version.
How to play Spider in four steps
- Stack down by rank. Any card can go on a card one rank higher, whatever the suit: a 5 on any 6.
- Move runs of one suit. Several cards move together only when they are in order and of the same suit, so try to build same-suit runs.
- Use empty columns. Any card or run can go into an empty column. Empty columns are your most valuable tool.
- Deal from the stock. When you are stuck, tap the stock to deal one card onto every column. You can't deal while a column is empty.
When a column ends with a full King-to-Ace run of one suit, it moves off the table automatically. Clear all eight to win.

Questions
Which Spider Solitaire is easiest?
1 suit. Every card is a spade, so every run is the same suit and can move together. Most 1-suit games can be won; 2 suits is much harder and 4 suits harder still.
How many cards are used in Spider Solitaire?
104 cards: two full packs. 54 are dealt into ten columns (6 cards in the first four, 5 in the rest) and 50 stay in the stock for five deals of ten.
Why can't I deal from the stock?
In Spider you may not deal a new row while any column is empty. Put a card or a run in the empty column first.
Is this the same as Spider Solitaire on Windows?
The rules are the same as the classic Windows game. Here it runs in any browser and is free, with nothing to install.
