Play War card game online free
War is the simplest card game in the world. The pack is split between two players, both flip a card, and the higher card wins both. If the cards match, it is WAR: more cards go down and the next flip takes everything. There are no decisions to make, which is why children love it and why Cheettukali has an Auto-play button for when you just want to watch the battle.
How to play War in four steps
- Split the pack. Each player gets 26 cards, face down.
- Flip. Both players turn over their top card. The higher card wins both cards (Ace is high).
- War! If the cards match, each player puts three cards face down and flips another. The higher of these wins the whole pile.
- Win everything. The game ends when one player holds all the cards.

Is War a game of skill?

Is the Ace high or low in War?
High. An Ace beats a King, and a 2 is the lowest card.
What if I run out of cards in the middle of a war?
You lose the war and the game, because you cannot put down the cards needed to compete.
