Shedding Card Games: Kazhutha, Bluff and Friends
Most card games are about winning tricks or points. Shedding games are about getting rid of your cards, and not being the last one holding them.

Kazhutha (Donkey)
Follow suit, and when someone can't, whoever played the highest card picks up the pile. Last player with cards is the donkey. Play Kazhutha.
Bluff (Cheat)
Play cards face down and say what they are, truthfully or not. Get caught lying and you pick up the pile. Play Bluff.
Why families love them
- Easy to learn in a minute.
- Any number can play.
- Lots of laughing, little arithmetic.
- Nobody "loses points"; someone just becomes the donkey for a round.
Other shedding games
Crazy Eights and many commercial card games work on the same idea: match the card on the table or draw.
