Spider Solitaire 2 Suits Strategy
Two suits is where Spider becomes a real game. One suit forgives everything; two suits punishes careless mixing.

Same suit beats any suit
When a 7 can go on two different 8s, always choose the 8 of the same suit. A mixed run can't move as a group, so every mix costs you moves later.
Keep one column for sorting
Once you have an empty column, use it to separate a mixed pile: move the hearts across, rebuild the spades, bring the hearts back onto a heart.
Turn over cards before building long runs
Long runs feel good but face-down cards are what block you. Prefer moves that reveal a card.
Deal at the right moment
There are five deals. Make every useful move first, but don't spend ages shuffling cards back and forth: if nothing new can be revealed, deal.
Expect to use undo
Good 2-suit players explore. Try a line; if it fails, go back. That is how you learn which mixes are harmless and which are fatal.

How do I separate mixed suits in Spider?
Use an empty column as a temporary space to move one suit aside, then rebuild each run in suit.
