Spider Solitaire 4 Suits: Winning the Hardest Version
Four-suit Spider is one of the hardest solitaire games anyone plays regularly. Winning a deal is a real achievement. Here's how to give yourself a chance.

Aim for one complete run
Your first finished King-to-Ace run frees 13 cards' worth of space. Concentrate on the suit you have the most of in order.
Empty a column before anything else
Without at least one empty column, four-suit Spider is almost unplayable. Sacrifice tidy runs to get one.
Accept mixed runs early, fix them later
You can't always build in suit. Mixed runs are fine as long as you can later separate them through an empty column.
Watch the deal count
Each deal adds ten cards in random suits on top of everything. Before the last two deals, have as many columns as possible ending in high cards, so the new cards can go somewhere.
Undo is part of the game
Expert four-suit players use undo constantly to test lines. Don't feel bad about it.
