TriPeaks Strategy: Long Runs and Cleared Peaks
In TriPeaks every card you play can open a new one, or close a door. The best players think two or three cards ahead before every tap.

Look before you play
On a waste 8 you might be able to play a 7 or a 9. Look at what each choice leads to: if the 9 lets you continue with a 10 and then a J, while the 7 is a dead end, the answer is obvious.
Uncover face-down cards first
When two moves are equally good, choose the card that will turn a face-down card over. More open cards means more options later.
Work on all three peaks
The tops of the peaks are covered by two cards each. If you clear one peak completely and leave the others untouched, you may run out of options. Spread your play.
Use wrapping
With K–A wrapping on, a King can be followed by an Ace and an Ace by a King. That often keeps a run alive. If you like a harder game, turn wrapping off in the menu.
Don't draw too early
Each stock card breaks your run. Before drawing, check every face-up card once more; it is easy to miss a match in the middle of the bottom row.
When to draw
Draw when there's genuinely nothing to play, or when every possible move would leave you stuck one card later and a draw might give a better start.
Count the stock
There are only 23 draws. If you have 10 cards left in the peaks and 5 in the stock, you need long runs. Plan accordingly.

FAQ
How do you get long runs in TriPeaks?
Look several cards ahead before each move, choose the direction (up or down) that keeps more cards playable, and avoid drawing from the stock until you have to.
Is TriPeaks luck or skill?
Both. The deal matters, but choosing between up and down moves changes how far each run goes.
